New Gator Backpacks

Check out our new gator backpack collection! These alligator backpacks are designed just for Gator Tots, so your tot will be unique strutting to the library with this snappy tote!

Why alligator backpacks? Originally, I wanted to offer customers an alternative to paper gift wrap - it's the gift wrap that won't be thrown away you know - but I was surprised by what encouraged customers to buy them. One day, a little light bulb popped on inside my head, and I remarked, "Hey, these bags would be great for storing small toys!" So, I offered them next to items such as alphabet blocks, play food, and building toys - and bingo - people loved them!

Personally, I think these are great bags for toting library books, sports activities, and of course school use, but toy storage is a super idea also!

Even my two year-old enjoys wearing his alligator backpack...though he fell over when I put too many books inside!

The Gators' New Bog

Check out the gators' new "bog" (gatortots.com). I have redesigned the site, complete with funky alligator wallpaper for you gator lovers (no, I am not a Florida Gators fan, nor do I operate a Florida-based day care center - both two of the top questions I get asked!).

The new site debuted today, and I'm anxious to hear what everyone thinks.

Don't all comment at once now...

...still waiting...

Ok, so maybe my new blog doesn't have great readership yet, but once I am done making the final "tweaks" on the site, I have plans for a snappy blog.

The Gator Tots are Moving!

What?

Well, the Gator Tots have decided that their old home was looking a bit outdated, so they will be getting a brand spanking new website in a week or two (fingers crossed).

What does that mean for me, the customer?

Gator Tots will still be located at http://www.gatortots.com but will have a fresh new look, richer product descriptions, enhanced cart features like seeing your shipping prices in the first stage of the cart and shopping all categories from a central catalog. Best of all, if your computer is using a low resolution (meaning everything is larger than "normal"), you won't have that annoying horizontal scroll bar!

Wow, I bet that cost you a pretty penny!

Actually, thanks to my cheap husband who discouraged me from hiring a designer, I did it all myself...coding the template from scratch, rewriting over 300 product descriptions, etc... I think my bottom has a permanent flat spot from all the time spent sitting at the computer! (Was that too much information? Sorry.)

Keep your eyes and mouse-clicking finger alert for the new change. To be continued...
